  1. What a great idea. I already bought her flowers and a card but I bet she would be really impressed with a candle light dinner that she didn’t have to plan and prepare. Thanks.

  2. Don’t ask me how I forgot Valentines Day because I don’t have an answer. I knew it was coming, it just sort of sneaked up on me. Just as I was getting ready to leave work Sunday afternoon, my girlfriend called and asked what I had planned for us for the evening. I asked her if she wanted to come over and just hang out because I was beat. She said she didn’t think that was very romantic for Valentines Day. I almost swallowed my tongue. I told her to come by around 6 and we would talk about it. I called Eat24Hours and ordered some of her favorite dishes, including an extravagant dessert. I stopped by the flower shop on the way home and grabbed some flowers. I whizzed through my apartment picking up clothes, dishes, newspapers and left it all on the back porch to deal with later. I borrowed a couple of candles from a neighbor and set the table, turned on some soft music and lowered the lights. Tina arrived about 6 minutes after the food. Boy, was she ever impressed! I couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for saving the night, and quite possibly my relationship.
