Happy Thanksgiving of Sports
The Super Bowl is a nationwide celebration of the things we do best: eat, drink, and smash things. It’s kind of a big deal. So if you’re hosting a party this Sunday and feeling a little performance anxiety, don’t worry. No matter which team you’re rooting for (Go Niners, sorry Baltimore we still love you), we got your back. First, let’s review the rulebook:
- A dip shall have no fewer than 5 layers, and no more than 7. Extra refried beans is not an acceptable substitute for lack of layers, however, one layer of bacon may be counted as two.
- If a party guest starts crying over a missed field goal, they must be kept at least 5 yards from the snack table, and 10 yards from the decorative two-headed Harbaugh ice swan.
HALFTIME: Look at the cute puppy OMG look at it. PUPPIES!!!!
- Bathroom breaks may only be taken during Ray Lewis retrospectives (approximately 4 per half).
- Pizza toppings are to be chosen by the host. Those who disagree with the selection are penalized with a timeout on the back porch for the remainder of the quarter.

*They say companies should never talk about religion, politics or sports. But to that third thing we say: screw it. Eat24 was born and raised in San Francisco, so we’re showing some love to our team and the fans. Also, did you know that if you smoosh all of Colin Kaepernick’s tattoos together like a giant ink Pangea, it forms the shape of a kraken arm wrestling a wizard? Yep. True story. It’s even more real than this Fine Print, which is pretty damn real, as far as legalese goes: You have to be an Eat24 member to use the weekly coupon code (Don’t worry, signing up is easier than choreographing a touchdown dance). You can only use the coupon at… wait for it… wait for it… restaurants that accept coupon codes (Over 20,000 of them nationwide,) and pay with Credit card or PayPal. The $3 value will be applied when you complete an order of $10 or more, so don’t try to just order a cup of Gatorade to throw on your face during a timeout. The code can only be used once, and will expire on the 3rd of February at midnight PST. Congratulations. You made it all the way to the end of the Fine Print. Excessive celebration is totally appropriate here, but if you ordered a burrito, try not to spike it in the end zone before eating.
